Walk

Almost everyday, I take the babes on a morning walk. Even through the dreadful hot months, we were out walking every day. The thing I love most about our new house is that we live in walking distance to Jenson's Nature Park. It's so beautiful to walk there everyday...and the kids have a lot of fun things to look at. These are some of the views of our daily walks.

Here's the waterfall that you see as you enter. Jace can spot it clear down the road. He'll start yelling "Wata, wata". And if they have it turned off he'll say "All gone, wata".

This is the bridge. We love to walk across it, and Jace loves to throw snacks to the ducks underneath.

Here's a wider shot of the pond. It's much larger then it looks. There's free fishing to the public and there's even stations to clean and gut your fish. Too bad we're not avid fishers...

Of course there's ducks. Jace and Brooklyn both love to see the ducks, birds, dogs, and other wildlife around. There's even horses on an adjoining field but I didn't get any pictures of them.

I'm happy we live close enough to go walking here everyday. I'm sad the weather is starting to cool down and soon we won't be able to go walking at all.

This is what the kids were wearing last week on our walks.

This is what they've been wearing this week. In fact, today was too cold to even go on a walk. I guess I'll have to be an old lady and start walking around the mall. There's a lot of wildlife to look at there too!

Where is this place? I love the pictures. I think it would be a nice place to have family pictures at or Bridals for Nic. So sad about the change in outfits. They look cute both ways though.

...too cold to go on a walk? Trev, tell 'em about making igloos in the back yard and winter campouts...show 'em how it's done son! If your mall is anything like West Ed - lots of wildlife!!
