Splash Pad

There's a new park in South Ogden that has a Splash Pad that we absolutely LOVE! There are two playgrounds, lots of grassy area, a gazebo with picnic benches, and most importantly a large area with all sorts of fountains and water where the kids can run around and get wet. This is right up Jace's alley because he is obsessed with water! I've been really impressed with him too, he's really brave and isn't afraid to get drenched.

Brooklyn has enjoyed the park as well, and loves to sit by the little fountains and splash her hands around. It's funny, because whenever she crawls on hard surfaces she crawls on her feet instead of her hands!

Here are some really fun pictures my friend Becky took of Tara and I with the kids a couple of weeks ago.

It's been such a relief to have a fun place to go and cool off this summer, especially since it's FREE! We're just bummed because it's only 2-3 minutes from our old house, and now it's about 20 minutes away. Oh well, it's certainly worth the drive!

Gotta love free. Have you checked out Roy aquatic? I don't think it would cost anything for Jace or Brooklyn to get in and if I remember right $4 for adults?? It may be closer to you. They have a really fun area like that for the little ones and other things to grow into.

What a fabulous idea for a park!! I am wondering if Ang's sister knows about this park, because she lives in South Ogden and her daughter would absolutely love it. Where is it at??

The pictures of Jace and Brooklyn are fabulous. I remember when Lex and Liv used to crawl like that. She will walking before you know it!!!

I have been expecting some before and after pictures of your yard...or has Trevor not got it finished yet?? Love you!!!

The Splash Pad is right behind the Ogden Athletic Club, you'll have to tell her about it!

Yeah...I've definitely got some before pictures of the yard...but I can't exactly put up after pictures until something is actually done! He's actually cut all the weeds down and has his friends tractor....so hopefully we'll be seeing some results here pretty quick. We're getting sick of the dirt and weeds, that's for sure!

I love and miss you guys too! I'm so happy you're doing your blog! It's nice to see what you're up to. Give your girlys a big hug for me!

Ang, I've never been to the Roy Aquatic center but it sounds fun, we'll definitely have to try it out!

I think the splash pads are such an ingenius thing. What a great way to keep cool in the summer and you don't have to worry nearly as much about the little ones as you do in a pool. Just watch out for the big mud puddle. Can't wait to see Jace's B-day pictures. Get bloggin girl!

Love the pictures of my big butt bending over! Your kids are so dang cute!!! I think the splash pad is one of the best things that has ever happened to your son. You should think about coming up to Park City and checking out this cool pool and waterslide that is totally free just for you!!
